The Golden Fold (TGF) is the Youth Academy Program (YAP) of Alpha Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Suffolk, VA.   The mentoring program helps young men of middle and high school age to grow and develop their leadership skills. The program provides both challenging and rewarding experiences which could richly enhance their lives. 

 

     TGF meets at Taylor Bend Family YMCA, 4626 Taylor Road, Chesapeake, Virginia from September to June on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, 7 pm to 9 pm.

 

     Young leaders participate in a variety of projects such as academic development, scholarship research, college visits, career readiness, health education, social awareness, and cultural awareness.  These activities are important elements to building a well-rounded leader.
